Interesting day....and night...to say the least.

Well, if you have been following along, you know that I was seeing Kim for the past month or so.....and I was a little leary about the whole situation....with her leaving her husband and finally letting me know she was interested in me (which I suspected all along, but you know me..I don't do ANYTHING without knowing for sure LOL).  They have 2 kids...and I had a feeling she was gonna end up going back to him..and sure enough...last week..she did.  It didn't bother me much because I knew it was gonna happen, so I just moved on.  Well, yesterday , I DJed a pig roast for some friends of theirs....people I had also gotten to know and the husband(Sean)is ALSO an MMA fighter.  Well, the wife (Christine) had some of her family at the pig roast, and she introduced me to her cousin Kayla.  She smiled at me but that was about it for most of the day.  But around 9PM when I finally stopped playing music...she came up to me and told me how picky she is about music and DJ's...and told me I was the best DJ she had ever seen (heard?).  I was floored...but we started talking....and ended up having a couple beers.  We really hit it off, but I wasn't expecting anything more than that.   Everyone was playing Beer Pong....and I suggested we switch the game to "Flipcup" since I hate beer pong.  No one knew what the game was except Kayla...and she got all excited that I knew the game.  So we explained it to everyone and played for another couple hours. She kept teasing me and hitting me...so I was starting to get the idea that she was interested in me  LOL.  She told me she wants to DJ with me the next party I do (which as of now..is July 24th)....so I told her she could come along and help out.  The girl has great taste in music (an important thing to me in ANY person)....she is beautiful...and intelligent (she graduated from UMass Amherst a couple years ago) and she has a great sense of humor.....  so I really got along great with her.  Well...I had to start my drive home around 11:30 since it's an hour from Worcester to Mansfield...so I said my goodbyes......and she comes up to me..and give me a big hug, looked me straight in the eye and said "I really like you.......so why don't we go see a movie and grab some dinner tomorrow".    Huh??  LOL  Seriously??  She asked ME out.....  She is a little young for me...but what the hell..we had some serious chemistry, so I said sure..let's do it.    So today, I took her to see "Bridesmaids" (a movie that I LOVED the first time I saw it) after we had a quick lunch at TGI Fridays.  She LOVED the movie (she passes the "sense of humor" test...LOL). We had a BLAST today (and yesterday).......really happy right now.  I am in SUCH a good mood...that I don't even care that I have to work tomorrow and train on new shit that I am not supposed to be doing  LOL,    But enough about that.   I was so happy when I got home last night...that I couldn't sleep.... so I better catch up on it tonight.  But talk about an ego boost...right when I needed it;. This whole situation with Kim was a hassle...not knowing where she stood.....well...no need to care any more......and honestly..Kayla seems like she is alot more fun and has more in common with me.  So we'll see where this goes.  But very very happy today :)

What the hell?

 I swear...if I live to be 100, I will never understand the workings of the female mind.  When I am not dating....I can go months without any of them showing any interest at all in me.....but as soon as I start dating someone....women I know and don't know....start telling me that want to go out.  The ones I know...they never gave the slightest indication that they were interested until now......one of them even acted kinda mad.  So if things don't work out with Kim...and I go back to "girl B"...will she still be interested...or is she only interested now because I am seeing someone??? Can someone please fucking explain this shit to me???   Do I break my own rule and date 2 or 3 at the same time? .  It's tempting....but no....that's really not my style.....I'm not a man-whore.  Maybe that's the problem...maybe I SHOULD be one.  LOL    Any way.....if anyone can explain this to me..please do...I'm all ears.

Tattoos

Ladies...please...for the love of God...please stop getting tattoos on your breasts, ass cheeks and crotch area (and arms for that matter too) It just looks terrible.....no matter who you are. Stick to the ankles, shoulders and even the lower back (even though I'm not a fan of Tramp Stamps either..but it looks better than than the other places I mentioned)  Any way..that's my opinion  :)

Great show

The comedy show Saturday was AWESOME....other than me having to run out 10 minutes early to watch the Bruins overtime next door to the arena (the overtime lasted only 11 seconds and the Bruins LOST)  :(    But the comedians were all funny......except one...I am NOT a fan of Lisa Lampanelli.....I find her crude and she really steps over the line with the racial stuff.  I am a habitual "line stepper" myself when trying to be funny........but she takes it to  a whole new level.  Give me Whitney Cummings any day...she is dirty too..but not in a crude way....and she is hilarious !  any way....Steve Byrne was totally funny to open the show.....gonna have to look him up and see if he is coming back any time soon.  Russell Peters was awesome as I expected him to be...and I love that he came out a few times since he was the "host".   Gabriel Iglesias was also very funny. It was definitely the most racially diverse crowd I have ever seen at any kind of show (music or comedy) and no one was offended....well..except for a few **GASPS** during Lampanelli's set.   My friend Brian was of course late...and he was coming only from Somerville.  He drove in and paid 25.00 to park...which to ME was STUPID. But he got right out of there after the Bruins lost and I didn't get home until 1:30 thanks to the "Guess where the Trolley is gonna stop THIS TIME" game they like to play at Kenmore station.  One time they stopped way at the beginning..the next way at the end..finally the last time in the middle and I crammed myself onto that trolley.   But it was all worth it.....a great night and a great show !!   And now I have to keep my eyes peeled for Christopher Titus and Whitney Cummings again...have seen them both and love them both !!

WTF??

I REALLY have to stop being so nice to people....especially women. So many times they get the wrong idea and think I am hitting on them. I don't know if it reflects good on me...or poorly on most of the other guys out there that so many of these women are used to being treated badly...so they take my kindness and generosity as a "come on".....but it has created a couple difficult situations in the past month or so where two women totally thought I was hitting on them and then were a little upset with me when I didn't actually ask them out. Was that my fault for being a nice guy or theirs for assuming?  I don;t know..but I really have to rethink being so nice to people from now on.  I felt bad both times, but I honestly just thought they were cool people.....I didn't have any romantic interest in either of them...especially since Kim and I started kinda "seeing" each other......  it's just casual dating right now......but who knows....we shall see. But seriously....that's just who I am...I like doing things for people..especially people I like. I just have to scale it back a little I guess. I am not someone who likes to mislead people...intentionally or unintentionally. It was nice to be "wanted" though....and thankfully...it wasn't a guy hitting on ME for a change  LOL    Ok..NOT funny !!  LOL
